Through IT Demand Management (ITDM) business areas get the added value and meet its strategic objectives. Several ITDM models have been proposed but the IT projects have lower success rates. In this article we analyze the ITDM current situation using the systematic review methodology with the purpose of identify the critical factors and barriers or limitations for demand management. Ten studies were selected.
