The use of directional antennas is explained by the growing popularity of using unmanned vehicles in agriculture and with the possibility of implementing high-precision navigation of unmanned vehicles on the field without using satellite navigation. The article also covers the brief concept of use RFID technology for navigation of unmanned vehicles in agricultural applications. The article covers the modeling and physical engineering approach to make compact and robust directed antennas applicable for both identificational and navigational purposes.
