This paper analyzes the industrial system of the architectural ceramics industry (ACI) in a sustainable manner, and puts forward a system framework of “characteristics constructional architectural ceramics industrye-conomy - resources and environment”. Based on the causal relationship between them, the paper makes sure that the basic goal of the sustainable development of ACI is to set up a mechanism, which can satisfy the coordinated development of socio-economy and ACI with the consideration of the carrying capacity of resources and environment.
