The development of tourism in these areas can therefore pose a threat to wildlife comparable to the impact of certain industries or intensive agriculture. Mass tourism causes changes in the landscape and contributes to the reduction of the forest area and displacement of the animals, the deterioration of forests and the production of garbage and waste (Sokołowski 1981). The intensity of tourist traffic also causes changes in the properties of the soil (Prędki 2000, 2002). The aim of the study is to analyze the changes in the soil due to tourist traffic within the educational path to Bukowa Góra in the Roztoczański National Park (RPN).
