2015-2021年期间，胡志明市对许多含有银杏叶提取物、姜黄提取物等草药的保健品进行了质量检测。检测方法为认可局(BoA)认可的非药典方法或药典方法。结果表明，有部分样品不符合定性、定量等质量标准。进行了微生物限量检测或防腐剂限量、重金属、黄曲霉毒素检测等安全质量标准的检测。
