A key to nine species of the genus Maes, including M. transversicollis Fairmaire, 1888, M. igori Davidian sp. nov., M. davidi Davidian sp. nov., M. delavayi Davidian sp. nov., M. fairmairei Davidian sp. nov., M. ilyai Davidian sp. nov., M. korolevi Davidian sp. nov., M. magnanoi Davidian sp. nov., and M. lingshanicus Davidian sp. nov. is given.
