A total of 16 Kangayam donor cows were selected for this study. The animals were treated with two doses of 500 μg PGF2α intramuscularly at an interval of 11 days. At 24 hours after the administration of 2 dose of PGF2α, all the Kangayam donor cows were observed for estrus response, onset of estrum, sign of induced estrus, duration of induced estrus, fern pattern and intensity of estrus.
