Three of 14 patients were males and others were females. Only two patients had past histories of pulmonary tuberculosis. The diagnosis was confirmed by biopsy specimens in 13 patients and the method of therapeutic diagnosis was adapted to one patient.Statistical reports by WHO showed that the incidence of tuberculous disease in Japan is relatively higher than those in other countries and the number of patients with tuberculous disease shows a gradual increase.
