Enhanced spontaneous emission from colloidal quantum dots embedded in a monolithic microcavity
We demonstrate an enhancement of the spontaneous emission from colloidal quantum dots embedded in a half-wavelength 1D cavity. Compared to free space, the emission of the dots is enhanced by a factor of 2.7.
