Energy Management Terminal Unit is an important part in this system. This paper introduces a new type of Energy Management Terminal Unit based on UC-7420 of MOXA company. The Operation System is Embedded Linux OS. User software is designed in modular and each module is achieved by a separate thread and the whole modules use multi-thread technology. The terminal enables multiple threads to read meters and improves the efficiency of reading meter and real-time of power datas greatly.
