PENGEMBANGAN SOAL OPEN ENDED UNTUK MENGUKUR KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR TINGKAT TINGGI SISWA SMA PADA MATERI GEJALA PEMANASAN GLOBAL

Kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi tidak dapat dimiliki secara langsung oleh seorang siswa melainkan melalui latihan, salah satunya dengan menggunakan soal open ended yang dapat digunakan untuk mengukur sekaligus mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, kreatif, dan pemecahan masalah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan ( Research and Development ) yang menghasilkan produk soal open ended . Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan keefektifan produk yang dikembangkan, serta mengetahui profil kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa pada materi Gejala Pemanasan Global. Hasil uji kelayakan soal open ended menurut pakar adalah 92,59% pada tahap pertama dan 97,53% pada tahap kedua, sehingga produk termasuk dalam kategori yang sangat layak. Hasil uji keefektifan menunjukkan koefisien korelasi nilai ulangan tengah semester dan soal open ended siswa adalah sebesar 0,634 dan termasuk dalam kriteria kuat. Kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa SMA Negeri 1 Salatiga termasuk dalam kategori baik dengan perolehan nilai rata-rata 61,28. Higher-order-thinking-skills can not be owned directly for a student except for training, one of the training is using open ended question which can be used for measuring at once with developing critics, creative, and problem solving thinking-skills of students. This research is a research and development which produce open ended questions. The purpose of this research is to know the properness and effectiveness of the product which is developed, also knowing the profile of higher-order-thinking-skills of students on material of global warming phenomenon. The result of properness test open ended questions according to the experts is 92,59% on the first stage and 97,53% on the second stage, so that the product is included in the category of very proper. The result of effectiveness test shows the coefficient of correlation between the student’s midterm test scores and open ended questions is 0,634 and included in the category of strong. Higher-order-thinking-skills of SMA Negeri 1 Salatiga students is included in the category of good with the average achievement scores 61,28.
