Slant submanifolds in an almost paracontact metric manifold

In this paper, slant submanifolds of a pseudo-Riemannian manifold equipped with an almost paracontact structure are defined and studied. Some characterization theorems for slant submanifolds are obtained. We also present some examples of slant submanifolds when the ambient space is an almost paracontact metric manifold.
