It traces the historical milestones of the cultural and national renaissance in Zakarpattia, which was annexed to the Czechoslovak Republic under the name of Carpathian Ruthenia in 1919 after the collapse of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy, as well as in the post-war period during the Soviet era.
