Genre out of genre. Still life painting in Russian art of the second half of the 19th century
The article is devoted to the living conditions in which still life painting existed in Russian art in the second half of the 19th century. Still life painting occupied a peripheral position in the genre structure, but continued to play an important role in the educational and creative practice of realist artists.
