A organização da informação arquivística em arquivos de arquitetura do núcleo de pesquisa e documentação da faculdade de arquitetura e urbanismo – UFRJ

This article analyzes the application of archival techniques and methodologies in the care of architectural records preserved by the Research and Documentation Center of the Architecture and Urbanism College of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Points out the theoretical reflections and national and international initiatives of the archivists related to concepts and specificities of architectural records. From the archival perspective and considering the archival documents that origin in the functions performed by architect, focuses on problems and difficulties in the implementation of organization and retrieval of information. Discusses the application of the principles of provenance in the architectural records.
