Salivary DNA Analysis: A Proof of Evidence

The importance of DNA in criminal investigations has increased in recent years. Law enforcement investigators heavily rely on DNA profiling of evidences to identify and solve routine as well as difficult cases. Short tandem repeat (STR) DNA Profiling technology has emerged as the most accurate and trusted scientific method to help prove the crime and the victims to achieve justice. The presence of a DNA source helps to confirm the presence of the perpetrator at the scene of crime.
