Alegorías cinematográficas de la conquista de América. Del apocalipsis de los imperios precolombinos al alba del colonialismo imperial

perspective. It is concluded that in both continents the cultural contexts of precolonial and postcolonial Mesoamerica are used in these films to shape ideological discourses, which are more related to their contemporary reality rather than to the past times they depict.
