根据东海和琉球岛弧附近陆区上三叠统地层分布格局资料,结合东海地区最新高分辨率地震资料,推断东海南部可能存在三叠系地层,并与上覆地层南为整合或不整合,北为不整合。上三叠统沉积形成于深水环境,具有较大的油气生成潜力。因此,东海南部三叠系地层可能成为新的重要油气勘探目标。
