Blood samples have been drawn from (35) patients with hepatitis and (28) blood samples of healthy as control group ages ranges from (40-65) years. Patients were collected from Al-Salam Hospital in Mosul City under the supervision of specialists Live in Mosul city. Sorbitol dehydrogenase, total serum bilirubin, protein, albumin, globulin and alanine aminotransferase sGPT were measured in blood of these patients. The results showed a significant increase in sorbitol dehydrogenase, sGPT, bilirubin, total serum protein, albumin and globulin levels compared with the control group.
