Based on the Industry 4.0 concept, maintenance services and also the imple-mented IT solutions in a production enterprises are now a significant factor in their development process. The article presents an analysis of the degree of use of the Manufacturing Execution Sys-tem (MES) in the maintenance department based on an example of a manufacturing company in the automotive sector of this industry. The analysis was performed in terms of the degree of ex-ecution of specific business processes in the maintenance department with the help of MES.
