摘要

本研究使用了2005-2015年越南转型经济中每两年一次的中小企业调查的面板数据，以及当地商业环境质量的数据(由省级竞争力指数衡量)。研究发现，前沿距离(以企业生产率与行业领先企业生产率之比衡量)对创新的影响被当地营商环境的改善负向调节。当地商业环境的这种重要作用表明，当当地商业环境的质量得到改善时，在转型经济中占多数的落后企业将得到有利的支持，以实现创新。
