The letters from the Head of the Evpatorian Archaeological and Ethnographic Museum Polina Yakovlevna Chepurina to a major restorer, organizer of events for the protection of cultural heritage in various regions of the USSR Boris Nikolaevich Zasypkin, identified by the author in the fund of the Central State Restoration Workshops in the Central State Archives of Moscow, were to become the basis of the scientific research. The diverse range of problems faced by the ascetic of Evpatorian local history, and the wide range of her scientific contacts thanks to the epistolary, were revealed.
