The main methods were the author’s questionnaire of social ideas about relationships and marriage, the questionnaire «Role expectations and claims in marriage» (ROP) by A.N. Volkova, a questionnaire of attitudes towards the registered marriage, a block of sociodemographic characteristics. The results suggest that there are no significant differences in the moral component of the ideas of the two generational cohorts.
