Based in a methodology that includes different measures of inequality in the hypothesis testing the Kuznets inverted-U, panel data estimation techniques, it was found that the region has supported important constraints for checking the hypothesis of Kuznets-Oshima. It was also verified that the relationship between the different sectors would be in different stages of the inverted-U function.
