Rehabilitation after fast-track knee arthroplasty: A scoping review on evidence-based challenges

The individual and social burden caused by knee osteoarthritis calls for clinical and logistical innovations to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of Total Knee Arthroplasty (TKA). Fast-track surgery is a multidisciplinary perioperative approach aimed at reducing surgical stress and facilitating postoperative recovery, resulting in decreased convalescence, better patient satisfaction, and reduced hospital costs [12].
