摘要
O. ramachandrini n. sp.，一种寄生虫的脚皮下组织的Phacochoerus aethiopicus在喀麦隆，描述。雌性有3至5个巨大的体腔细胞，在身体前部形成肿胀。与O. dewittei Bain, Ramachandran, Petter et Mak(1977)一起，该物种构成了水蛭科寄生虫的一小群，其形态特征很好，其中非洲物种似乎是最原始的一种(保存了一个没有横向脊的雌性角质层)。
