The management of acquired bleeding disorders in pregnancy
This article will highlight how to identify, diagnose and manage acquired bleeding disorders in pregnancy. Postpartum haemorrhage is the leading acquired bleeding disorder, but is extensively covered in multiple guidelines and within the MRCOG curriculum, so we will instead focus on platelet disorders.
