As part of the survey, a choice experiment was conducted to determine the respondents’ willingness to pay for improving or changing four attributes of hydrogen electricity storage. The respondents were randomly divided into two groups: one that was given information about carbon prices for reducing greenhouse gas emissions from residential energy use, and another that was not given any information. The carbon prices were calculated based on the information provided for each storage profile. Willingness to pay was calculated using mixed logit models.
