Tres sellos para un infante: documentos de Don Felipe, abad de Valladolid y arzobispo electo de Sevilla (1229/31-1278)

This work aims to study and value the few original documents, and the seals that they carry and that have come down to us, issued by a character who has gone through something unnoticed in the history of the Church of Seville, the infante Don Felipe, son of Fernando III and brother of Alfonso X, the Wise. Despite such notable kingship, the figure of the person who was appointed to occupy the Seville archiepiscopal seat in the first place after the conquest of the city by Christian power, has always been overshadowed for various reasons. However, the few documents located present an interesting triple representation of the infant according to the different moments of his life curriculum. Although these pieces have been used as historical sources, they have never been studied by themselves. El objetivo del presente trabajo es estudiar y poner en valor los escasos documentos originales, y los sellos que portan y que han llegado hasta nosotros, emitidos por un personaje que ha pasado algo desapercibido en la historia de la Iglesia de Sevilla, el infante don Felipe, hijo de Fernando III y hermano de Alfonso X, el Sabio. A pesar de tan notable parentela, la figura del que fuera designado para ocupar la sede arzobispal hispalense en primer lugar tras la conquista de la ciudad por el poder cristiano ha estado siempre ensombrecida por varias razones. Sin embargo, los pocos documentos localizados presentan una interesantísima triple representación del infante acorde con los distintos momentos de su currículo vital. Estas piezas, si bien han sido utilizadas como fuentes históricas, no han sido nunca estudiadas por sí mismas.
