Methanol is used as the solvent and chromogenic agent added was bromocresol green. Bromocresol green is only reactive with pregabalin form a green colour ion pair complex. l max of pregabalin and etoricoxib was at 618 nm and 235 nm, respectively. The method was found to be linear in the range of 6-22 µg mL-1 for pregabalin and 4.8-17.6 µg mL-1 for etoricoxib.
