It starts with a presentation of expectation as a characteristic feature of humanity which is specifically intensive in young age and proceeds with a particular, Christian understanding of expectation in relation to eschatology. Drawing upon Boublík’s treatment of expectation a few inspirations and impulses for the field of youth ministry research are suggested. The scope of the journal is to serve scholarship in the broad field of children, youth, faith, church, theology and culture.
