摘要本定性研究的目的是探讨长期社会援助受助人参加家庭团体会议（FGC）的经历。采访了15名挪威长期（>6个月）安排FGC的社会援助受助人。共有9名男性和6名女性，年龄24-64岁。研究结果表明，当应用于社会服务环境时，FGC可能具有治疗特征。发现了与家庭/网络治疗相关的三个特征：自我揭露、对话交流和改善家庭关系。FGC在应用于成年人时可能具有的治疗功能在社会工作环境中是有效的，因为解决家庭冲突和/或改善家庭互动可能是在许多长期社会援助接受者中实现其他期望变化的先决条件。
