Processo de acreditação ONA: desafios para gestores de qualidade em serviços de apoio às Organizações de Saúde

The constant search for quality and its management are topics observed, discussed and studied in all areas. Defining what is quality is something subjective independent of the area where it is being applied and of numerous definitions found in the literature. The objective of this work was to demonstrate the advantages and possible disadvantages in obtaining the ONA qualification seal in a health service, making their contributions in a quality system. A qualitative approach was use and the method was a single case study in an institution characterized as a Compounding Center, Specialized in the preparation of parenteral nutrition and chemotherapeutic preparations. Data collection was performed through a semi-structured interview with the main managers of the institution. To evaluate the data and compile the results, content analysis was used, where grouping the questions by similarity were created categories. At the end of the work, it was observed that although the audit to obtain the ONA qualification seal has a focus on all processes, more emphasis was given by the managers in the elaboration of the process sheet, where it was possible to evaluate the complex interrelation between the departments.
