The author analyses different options of interacting within two narrative trends – a feature film and a documentary. The purpose of the text is to show varied ways of showing obesity in film. The presentation included in the paper focuses on the following perspectives: obesity as a sign of disability to care about one’s own health, obesity as a tool of social stigma, obesity as a factor determining social experience.
