O cotidiano e a territorialização dos idosos em um asilo do Norte do Paraná
The aim of this article is to understand how the day-to-day routine impacts elderlies' territorialization in an asylum in Northern Parana. Theoretical elements of Certeaunian day-to-day routines and territorialization were discussed, which are the analytical basis for this investigation. In methodological terms, the techniques of participant observation and oral life history interviews were used. The results show that, even in an almost invisible way, asylum seekers use a variety of practices, such as strategies, tactics and conveniences to territorialise the space they inhabit. Life stories show that not only the current daily practices of the old are related to the actions of territorialization, but everything that has already been experienced by these individuals in the past, their customs, their traditions, and above all, the way in which they previously dealt with their losses and changes influence the process of territorialization of the elderly in the asylum.
