Based on the data obtained, a detailed comparison was made between the fabrics with respect to the expectations of the surgical gowns. The higher the polyester content in the fabric, the higher the fabric strength, seam strength and air permeability. However, viscose-rich fabrics have a softer hand and are easier to drape compared to polyester fabrics.
