The Effect of Web Based Training Given to Fathers on Their Functional Status after Birth: A Randomized Controlled Trial
Abstract The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of planned training given to fathers in the prenatal period on their functional status in the postpartum period. We selected 143 participants and randomly assigned them to intervention (n = 72) and control (n = 71) groups for an experimental study. Prenatal Information Form, Postnatal Information Form, Inventory of Functional Status-Fathers and Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support were used for data collection. In the postpartum period, functional status and perceived social support levels of fathers receiving training were affected positively.
