Consideraciones en torno a la biografía y la Transición democrática: un balance historiográfico

espanolBiografia e historia siempre han mantenido una compleja relacion. Esta se ha revelado especialmente dificil en los estudios sobre la transicion espanola, con una complicada y tortuosa evolucion. El objetivo de este articulo es trazar un recorrido por las biografias relativas a ese periodo de nuestra historia y asi conocer los problemas interpretativos, documentales, metodologicos o historiograficos encontrados por dicho genero. Igualmente, tratara de hacerse una puesta en valor de sus aportaciones, tanto al suponer una renovacion en nuestra concepcion sobre el papel del sujeto en contextos transicionales, como al permitir abordar diversas problematicas estructurales desde nuevas perspectivas EnglishBiography and history have always had a complex relationship. This has been revealed especially difficult in studies on the Spanish transition, with a complicated and tortuous evolution. The objective of this article is to trace a journey through the biographies related to that period of our history and thus learn about the interpretive, documentary, methodological or historiographic problems encountered by this genre. Likewise, I will try to value their contributions, both by assuming a renewal in our conception of the role of the subject in transitional contexts, and by allowing us to address various structural problems from new perspectives
