Englishwomen’s petitioning strategies during the 17th century

The aim of this article is to study the contents and the diverse forms in which women wrote petitions to Parliament or to the Crown during the second half of the seventeenth-century paying attention to the hugh variety of topics chosen by them and the reception they had in society.
