Estimativa do balanço hídrico climatológico e classificação climática para o município de Carbonita – MG

O conhecimento das variações da precipitação de uma região é fundamental, pois auxilia o agricultor no planejamento das atividades agrícolas. Sendo assim, o trabalho objetivou calcular o balanço hídrico climatológico (BHC) bem como realizar a classificação climática pelo método de Thornthwaite e Mather (1955) para o município de Carbonita - MG. Para a realização do estudo foi utilizada uma série de dados históricos entre os anos de 1982 a 2019, relativos à precipitação média mensal e temperatura média mensal. Para o cálculo do BHC foi adotado o valor de 100 mm para a capacidade de água disponível (CAD). A deficiência hídrica anual no município foi de 217,9 mm, sendo distribuída entre os meses de abril a outubro e fevereiro totalizando oito meses de déficit hídrico. O excedente hídrico foi verificado apenas nos meses de dezembro, janeiro e março, totalizando 183,6 mm. Com relação a classificação climática para o município de estudo, foi caracterizado como clima sub-úmido, mesotérmico, com moderada deficiência hídrica no inverno (C2wB’4a’).Palavras-chave: precipitação, deficiência hídrica, clima.                                                                                                                                 Estimation of the climatological water balance and climatic classification for the municipality of Carbonita-mg ABSTRACTKnowledge of variations in precipitation in a region is essential, as it assists the farmer in the planning of agricultural activities. Thus, the objective of this work was to calculate the climatological water balance (BHC) as well as to perform the climatic classification by the Thornthwaite and Mather method (1955) for the municipality of Carbonita - MG. For the study, a series of historical data were used between 1982 and 2019, related to average monthly precipitation and monthly average temperature. For the calculation of the BHC was adopted the value of 100 mm for the available water capacity (CAD). The annual water deficiency in the municipality was 217,9 mm, being distributed between April and October and February totaling eight months of water deficit. The water surplus was verified only in December, January and March, totaling 183,6 mm. Regarding the climatic classification for the municipality of study, it was characterized as sub-humid, mesothermal climate, with moderate water deficiency in winter (C2wB'4a').Keywords: precipitation, water deficiency, climate.
