Negative behaviors not only affect the well-being of the employees but also the overall performance of the organization. The purpose of this study was to investigate the association between emotional support (from co-workers) and employees’ wellbeing in the presence of social undermining as a mediator. \nMaterials and Methods: This study was quantitative. Cross-sectional and convenience sampling design (non-probability sampling technique) was applied to collect the data through questionnaires from the participants by using the survey method. Data was gathered from 287 Lecturers, Assistant Professors, and Professors from different public and private universities of Balochistan. 摘要

目的:组织心理学中的消极行为概念正处于萌芽阶段。消极行为不仅影响员工的幸福感,也影响组织的整体绩效。本研究的目的是调查在社会破坏作为中介的情况下,(来自同事的)情感支持与员工幸福感之间的关系。材料与方法:本研究为定量研究。采用横断面和方便抽样设计(非概率抽样技术),采用调查方法,通过问卷调查收集参与者的数据。数据来自俾路支省不同公立和私立大学的287名讲师、助理教授和教授。运用过程宏观法研究了情感支持对员工幸福感的直接和间接影响。研究结果:结果表明,情感支持对幸福感有积极影响,而社会破坏在一定程度上调节了情感支持与幸福感之间的关系。建议:这些发现可以应用于组织中,以改善员工的幸福感,并最大限度地减少组织环境中的负面行为。
