The suggested approach has resulted in a saving of 7.5 million gallons of diesel in transportation and reduced 76,910 metric tons of CO2 emissions for Whirlpool between 2007 and 2016 in the United States. This approach leads to the saving in fuel cost and a reduction in carbon emissions.
