For S. acutipalpis a lectotype has been designated in order to maintain nomenclatural stability. The following new taxa are described: S. sinepunctatus sinepunctatus sp. nov., S. sinepunctatus kluangensis ssp. nov., and S. gradus sp. nov. A key to the Syleter species is provided.
