Self-Report Pychopathy Scale Short Form 4ª Edición: Adaptación y Modelamiento Estructural en Población Penitenciaria Mexicana
The study of psychopathy in forensic and legal psychology has been complex considering the impact on these areas. The purpose of the present study is to examine the psychometric properties of the Self-Report Pychopathy Scale Short Form 4th (SRP:4-SF), which was derived from the Psychopathy Checklist-Revised (PCL-R) in a sample of 300 male prisoners. Results indicate that the adapted version of the SRP:4-SF has good construct validity and reliability to assess psychopathy in a penitentiary population. Statistical proposals are discussed to analyze SRP:4-SF factors, as well as cultural, contextual, and theorical differences to understand the manifestation of psychopathy.
