Diptera was the most abundant taxon for all sampled individuals. A single species of mayfly, Caenis amica Hagen, 1861, was collected. Five aquatic Diptera and three Trichoptera species are new distribution records for San Diego County. A second state distribution record for the micro-caddisfly, Oxyethira arizona Ross, 1948, is also reported.
