First record of the genus Desertoniscus Verhoeff, 1930 (Isopoda: Agnaridae) from Iran, with the description of a new species

A new species of terrestrial isopod, Desertoniscus iranensis n. sp., is described from Qeshm Island, southern Iran, representing the first record of the genus Desertoniscus for Iran.
