Materials and methods: A descriptive and cross-sectional study was carried out in 47 pregnant women with periodontal manifestations in the \"Vilma Espin Guillote\" Maternity Home, belonging to the \"30 de Noviembre\" Teaching Polyclinic, in the city of Santiago de Cuba, in the period from June to December 2018, with the objective of identifying the periodontal status of pregnant women and characterizing said prioritized group with periodontal disease in terms of clinical and epidemiological characteristics. The Russell Periodontal Index was used to determine the severity of the periodontal disease and the Simplified Green and Vermillion Oral Hygiene Index to specify the degree of oral hygiene. Results: It was obtained that 38.2% of the pregnant women with gingival disease were in the third trimester of pregnancy. Mild gingivitis was the one that predominated with 65.9% also in the third trimester. In 95.7% of the cases it was located. Conclusions : pregnant women with gingival disease predominated in the third trimester of pregnancy. Mild gingivitis was found in a higher percentage. 摘要
目的:“11月30日”教学综合诊所“Vilma Espin”疗养院孕妇牙周病的临床和流行病学特征。材料和方法:2018年6月至12月,在古巴圣地亚哥市“30 de Noviembre”教学综合诊所的“Vilma Espin Guillote”妇产院对47名有牙周表现的孕妇进行了描述性和横断面研究,目的是识别孕妇的牙周状况,并根据临床和流行病学特征来表征所述患有牙周病的优先人群。Russell牙周指数用于确定牙周病的严重程度,简化的Green和Vermillion口腔卫生指数用于指定口腔卫生程度。结果:38.2%的牙龈疾病孕妇处于妊娠晚期。轻度牙龈炎在妊娠晚期占主导地位,占65.9%。95.7%的病例定位。结论:患有牙龈疾病的孕妇在妊娠晚期占主导地位。轻度牙龈炎的比例较高。大量孕妇口腔卫生状况不佳,这种情况随着疾病的严重程度和教育水平的降低而加剧。
