Constructing ‘ideal’ students within contemporary higher education: editorial introduction

ABSTRACT This special issue focuses on the concept of the ‘ideal’ higher education student. It explores how this concept is played out in different national contexts and the implications it has for particular groups of students and their experiences within higher education.
