Vertebral osteomyelitis and epidural abscess due to Listeria monocytogenes – case report and review of literature

Abstract We describe a case of native vertebral osteomyelitis (NVO) secondary to Listeria monocytogenes in a patient with polymyalgia rheumatica receiving chronic steroids.
