First Report of the Genus Heriaeus Simon, 1875 (Araneae: Thomisidae) from India with the Description of a New Species from Western Ghats

Abstract. The crab spider genus Heriaeus Simon, 1875 is recorded for the first time from India. Heriaeus chareshi new species is described and illustrated based on female specimens.
